Measurement workflow in five phases
Phase 1: video sheet before publication

Reading a retention curve like an editor
On YouTube Studio, the curve is not a global grade: it is an approximate shot-by-shot diagnosis. Vertical drop at 0:04 = hook or title promise. Plateau then drop at 0:22 = section too long or repetitive. Rare rise = rewind on a strong moment (note the timestamp to reproduce it).

UTM and attribution traps
